Oliver Peter Pervez is the founder and currently the Senior Partner of Peter & Co. Chartered Accountants. He has over 44 years of experience of providing assurance and taxation services to multinationals, domestic companies and organizations engaged in oil field services, manufacturing,energy, telecom, information technology, trading, education and health sector.
He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors from Hailey College of Commerce, Lahore. Oliver is also a member of the Rawalpindi/Islamabad tax bar.
Before founding Peter & Co., Oliver worked in PwC Pakistan (A.F. Ferguson & Co.) for 17 years dealing with the priority office clients. He led the tax practice of the Rawalpindi office for 11 years. Oliver also worked with KPMG for almost 2 years leading the tax practice of KPMG at Lahore and Rawalpindi during that period.
Oliver has been the engagement partner of several audits of companies and organizations in the process providing value addition services like comments on internal controls and highlighting areas of concern for the management. He has deep knowledge and experience of the Pakistani market especially with respect to interpretation and application of local tax law.
Oliver has advised many organizations with respect to tax planning, changes in tax laws affecting the clients, filing of documents and preparation and filing of returns of income and sales tax returns. He has also represented clients before the Tax Authorities and Appellate Authorities up to Tribunal level.
Aneel Peter is a Director in Peter and Co. Chartered Accountants and currently leads our advisory business. He has 13 years of assurance and advisory experience of serving some of the largest organizations in Middle East and Pakistan.
He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors, USA.
Aneel worked with PwC Pakistan (A. F. Ferguson & Co.) for around 5 years and with EY (Middle East North Africa) for around 7.5 years.
He has managed and led internal/external audits, enterprise risk assessments, process review/improvement engagements, corporate governance review/framework developments and fraud/money laundering investigations.
Aneel is well versed with leading risk management and internal/external audit standards (e.g. COSO, IIA, ISA etc.). He also worked for 3 years with EY's Oil and Gas Centre of Excellence in Bahrain with focus on business development, internal audits, enterprise risk management and process improvement for the Middle East North Africa (MENA) clients.
